Those were the last two lines from a very positive and uplifting message I received yesterday from a former client.
When working in victim services, which is often filled with terror, pain, hurt, and sadness, hearing that someone is doing very well makes all the difference. In fact, it's the equivalent of bright sunshine breaking through the clouds after a particularly long and dangerous storm. To say that I am relieved, happy, and touched is a complete understatement...
