Janet @ the Library of Michigan |
Friend and fellow classmate, Janet Curtiss, was über
creative
(not to mention witty) by creating a
colophon for her recent term paper on
Women and Book Production, Medieval to Colonial Times. Originally, she included it at the end of her paper, but rather opted to embed the colophon in the email used for submitting the assignment. It reads:
"It is wythe greate pleasure that the writer declayres this worke to be
finished as her fingers are tyred and her braine celles emptye. Praise
be to thee, O Maxwell House, for allowing the great blessing of
completeing this worke."
I just love bookish humor! Thanks for sharing, Janet!
