Fall 2011

With the cancellation of the study abroad trip, I have been subsequently amending my Plan of Work to accommodate degree requirements which includes re-registering for different Fall term classes. For the interim, I am forgoing the independent study course with Dr. Anghelescu this Fall term and opting to take it at a later time -- which I'll discuss later.

This Fall term, I plan on taking LIS 6510: Survey and Analysis of Current Literature for Children -- Preschool to Grade 3 and hopefully LIS 7560: Seminar in Literature for Children and Young Adults: Vampires, Wizards and Superheroes. (How cool will that be?!) I say "hopefully" because there is a prerequisite cited for the class -- which I will be fulfilling concurrently with the course plus my experience with YA literature. I emailed and left the professor a voicemail. We'll see...
