Plan of Work

Yesterday afternoon, I submitted my amended Plan of Work which included the German Librarianship, Study Abroad course, and the History of Books, Printing, and Publishing. I moved my practicum to the last semester of my tenure.

Since the information for the Germany trip has been published, I am pondering potential topics for my paper and am leaning heavily on two: Publishing/Printing in Wartime (a topic Dr. Neavill has covered and I have found fascinating) and/or Intellectual Freedom.

I ended up spending a few hours at Bad Axe Library and got all of my reading done for LIS 6210 (Serials). Guess who is officially a registered patron at BAADL? Me! Considering how often I studied there during Fall 2010 term and utilized the reference section...

While visiting, I browsed the cemetery records and I have some ideas for databases...
