Glory

Fall term has started and I am in my glory. Hooray for resuming Hermionish activities beyond reading for Literature to Film Club. The downside: I won't get to make as much mischief with my friends. When making mischief occurs, it is going to be rich! I have seven mischief dates on my docket now: 9.17 - 9.18 (Fruitport), 9.24 - 9.26 (Brown Bonfire Bash), 10.8 - 10.9 (Fruitport/Traverse City/Suttons Bay: Blue October concert).

For the last 3 weeks of spring/summer term, by the time I would leave work and drive home, I would find myself getting clothes out for the next day, having dinner, and going to bed. I didn't have enough time during the week to work on projects...so you can only imagine how I spent my weekends. Because I am taking two classes, for the past month, I have made a conscious effort to leave work at reasonable hours to get them habituated to my other workload.

My Classes
LIS 6080 (Information Technology): Storage and retrieval problems as approached by conventional and non-conventional methods. Computer applications in libraries.

LIS 6120 (Access to Information): Reference function of the library including print and electronic reference sources; development of interpersonal communication skills to increase effectiveness in response to patrons' information needs; effective search strategies for all types of reference.
